i've almost gotten all the dye off my fingers...

this is my new recipe obsession, from my new food blog obsession: 101 cookbooks. it's the perfect mix of 99% healthy vegetarian recipes + the occasional cookie. i've wasted a good amount of time perusing the corresponding flickr pool. and now, i'm hungry.

sprout home is now carrying cakehouse goods, and when i went to look at their

website today, look what i found! sydney looks so pretty with their color scheme.

i bought this gorgeous soap this past weekend at the virginia classic llama and
alpaca show, from pacabella. it's organic soap encased in hand-felted alpaca fiber,
so it's like a washcloth and soap in one. besides being so pretty, it smells fantastic.
and it will remind me of all of the absolutely adorable alpacas and llamas
that were at the show. i spent the whole weekend holding myself back
from jumping down into the ring and hugging them.

today i'm daydreaming of my yearly sojourn to florida.
only a month to go....

i'm loving this pendant from nemesis jewelry, an etsy seller
from brooklyn. it's so simple and utilitarian-looking.
it would make a perfect mother's day present to myself...

prepare to die from the overwhelming cuteness.

i'm not a very good knitter—i never really got past the
stockinette stitch (knit, purl, repeat). but i picked it up again recently, and
something clicked, and i think i actually understand what i'm doing now!
i'm loving this pattern that i'm working on now. it's the simplest thing ever,
but the fact that i can manage it is making me feel like a pro.
i almost feel confident enough to take on cables....

i finally dowloaded the poladroid application, after reading about it everywhere, and i am completely obsessed. it's so brilliant.
