i'm loving this pendant from nemesis jewelry, an etsy seller
from brooklyn. it's so simple and utilitarian-looking.
it would make a perfect mother's day present to myself...

prepare to die from the overwhelming cuteness.

i'm not a very good knitter—i never really got past the
stockinette stitch (knit, purl, repeat). but i picked it up again recently, and
something clicked, and i think i actually understand what i'm doing now!
i'm loving this pattern that i'm working on now. it's the simplest thing ever,
but the fact that i can manage it is making me feel like a pro.
i almost feel confident enough to take on cables....

i finally dowloaded the poladroid application, after reading about it everywhere, and i am completely obsessed. it's so brilliant.

this gorgeous photo of one of my creations is from a book, published by chronicle, that will be hitting the shelves in fall of this year. more details as they unfold....
